Agreement
These terms govern your use of the hosted SocialHandoff service at https://app.socialhandoff.com and the website at socialhandoff.com, provided by SocialHandoff. By creating an account you agree to them. If you use SocialHandoff for an organization, you confirm you can bind it to these terms. The open-source code is licensed separately under AGPL-3.0; these terms do not limit your rights under that license.
Your account
You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in details and API keys secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, including actions taken by agents using keys you issue.
Your content and your agents
You own the content you and your agents create. You give us permission to store, process, and publish it only as needed to run the service for you. You are responsible for what is published from your accounts, including posts drafted by AI agents that you or your reviewers approve or that agents you promoted publish on their own.
Acceptable use
Do not use SocialHandoff to:
- Break the law or the terms of any social network you connect
- Send spam, run fake engagement, or impersonate others
- Publish content that is harassing, hateful, or infringes someone's rights
- Try to break, overload, or probe the service without permission
We may suspend accounts that break these rules. Where we can, we will tell you first.
Third-party networks
SocialHandoff publishes through the APIs of X, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Mastodon, and others. Those networks can change their APIs, limits, or rules at any time, which can affect features. We are not responsible for their actions.
Plans, trials, and payment
Hosted plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. The trial lasts 14 days and needs no card. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, and their terms apply to the purchase. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice by email. Refunds follow our refund policy.
Cancellation
You can cancel anytime. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. You can export your data before you close your account. We may end the service with 30 days' notice.
Availability and warranty
We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, SocialHandoff is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will email account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service means you accept the new terms.
