Where Sendible is strong
- Unlimited users on every plan, with client workspaces.
- Assignment and approval workflows from the Plus plan.
- White-label option on Elite and Enterprise.
- Supports Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Google Business Profile and WordPress.
Where teams outgrow it
- No MCP server found, and API access is not self-serve.
- No per-agent keys or trust ladder for AI agents.
- No Mastodon support and no self-hosted option.
Why agencies look for a Sendible alternative
- No direct agent connection. We found no Sendible MCP server, and its API is not self-serve, so connecting Claude, ChatGPT or an n8n workflow takes extra work.
- Approvals start on Plus. Assignment and approval workflows begin at $79/month, not on Core.
- No Mastodon. Sendible's list includes Bluesky but not Mastodon.
When Sendible remains the right choice
Stay with Sendible if your clients need YouTube, Google Business Profile or WordPress, if you rely on client-ready reports, or if you need white-label. SocialHandoff does not support those networks and does not offer white-label. It now publishes to Instagram, Facebook Pages and TikTok, but Instagram needs a professional account and TikTok posts stay private until TikTok audits the app. Unlimited users on every plan is also a real advantage for large teams.
How SocialHandoff fits an agency
- Client workspaces on the Agency plan (60 channels, 25 agents).
- Agents connect directly over MCP or REST, including from n8n, Zapier, Make, LangChain and CrewAI.
- One key per agent, scoped to a client's networks and to draft, schedule or analytics.
- Required approval, with multi-reviewer approvals on Pro and above.
- Guardrails per client: banned topics, length limits, alt text, daily limits.
- Audit log with citations, useful when a client asks why a post went out.
- Self-host under AGPL-3.0 if a client requires data on your servers.

Questions to ask before switching
Count the clients whose content now starts with an AI draft. For those, the approval step and per-client agent limits matter more than visual planning. Check which clients need white-label reports; if many do, Sendible is hard to replace. Next, ask whether any client requires data to stay on specific infrastructure, which SocialHandoff can meet by self-hosting. Finally, check your network mix per client, since Mastodon or X-heavy clients fit SocialHandoff well, Instagram and TikTok clients fit once the Meta and TikTok app reviews are done, and YouTube clients do not. A short pilot with one client is a low-risk way to compare, since you can keep Sendible running for everyone else during the trial.
