How to do it
- Open the inbox Sign in with the owner key. On a phone, drafts appear as a swipe stack; install the app to your home screen as a PWA.
- Read the preview Each draft shows the target networks, the agent that wrote it, why it wrote it, and any cited source, such as a GitHub release.
- Edit if needed Change the text inline. Guardrails run again on your edit.
- Run a dry run Preview exactly what each network will receive. Nothing is queued.
- Approve, schedule, or reject Publish now, pick a time, request changes with a note, or reject with a reason the agent can read.
- Undo within 60 seconds Publish-now waits 60 seconds. Undo returns the post to pending if nothing has gone out yet.
Approval options
| Action | What happens |
|---|---|
| Approve and publish now | Queued after the 60-second undo window |
| Approve and schedule | Queued for the chosen date, time, and timezone |
| Request changes | Returns to the agent with your note |
| Reject | Closed, with the reason recorded |
The undo window
Publish-now holds the post for 60 seconds by default. During that time, Undo returns it to pending. Once a network has accepted the post, undo is refused, because the post is already live. Self-hosted servers can change the default with SOCIALHANDOFF_UNDO_SECONDS.
Approving from an MCP client
The approval card can also render inside an MCP client that supports UI cards. Approving there requires the owner key; agent keys cannot approve.
Multiple reviewers
On the Pro and Agency hosted plans, a post can require more than one reviewer before it publishes.
When the kill switch is on
A paused workspace refuses approve-and-schedule. Resume first, or leave posts pending until you are ready. See the kill switch.
