Where Missinglettr is stronger
The drip campaign is its signature feature and it saves real time for bloggers. It also includes AI image generation and reaches Google Business Profile. SocialHandoff has no image generator and no Google Business Profile support.
Where SocialHandoff is stronger
SocialHandoff is built for sources other than a blog. A release tag, an incident note, or an agent's weekly plan all become drafts. Each agent gets a scoped key; an agent cannot approve its own draft; and the kill switch holds every queued post if you need to stop. Pricing arithmetic
Missinglettr lists Solo at $12 a month billed yearly ($150 a year) for 3 social profiles, and Pro at $32 a month billed yearly ($390) for 10, per its pricing page on 2026-09-28. SocialHandoff Starter is $19 a month for 5 channels, or 2 months free with annual billing.
For 3 profiles on annual billing, Missinglettr Solo is likely the lower cost. For a team that needs several agents with separate keys, or that must self-host, SocialHandoff's free self-hosted edition changes the math. Both vendors can change prices; check before you commit.
Migration notes
There is no importer. Let active Missinglettr campaigns finish, then connect X, LinkedIn, Instagram, or Facebook to SocialHandoff and add Bluesky or Mastodon. Point your agent or your blog automation at SocialHandoff's webhook so new articles become drafts.
Who each fits
A blogger who publishes weekly and wants posts to trickle out for months will be happy with Missinglettr. A product team that ships often and has an agent drafting announcements will fit SocialHandoff better. If your blog and your releases both matter, you can feed articles into SocialHandoff through a webhook and approve the drafts like any other.
