How to do it
- Transcript in When the episode publishes, an n8n or Make flow sends the show notes or transcript to SocialHandoff over the REST API.
- Find the moments The agent drafts a release-day announcement, two quote posts, and a thread of key takeaways, citing timestamps.
- Check the guest details Brand memory holds show name, host names, and handle rules, so guest mentions and titles stay accurate.
- Approve and schedule the week You approve in the inbox and the agent spreads the posts across the week, with images carrying alt text.
- Guest heads-up A post.published webhook can notify the guest's team so they can share it.

An episode is a week of posts
A 45-minute conversation contains more good material than a single announcement can carry. The shows that grow on social media post the moments, not just the release: a sharp quote, a disagreement, a surprising number the guest shared. An agent working from the transcript finds candidates fast. You were in the room, so you decide which ones capture the conversation fairly.
Setup
- Connect the networks your listeners use. LinkedIn suits business shows; X, Bluesky, and Mastodon suit most others.
- Build a flow in n8n or Make that sends the transcript when an episode goes live.
- Add brand memory: show name, host bios, how you refer to guests, and phrases to avoid.
- Use the podcast episode promo template as the agent's reference.
Permissions
Give the podcast agent draft and schedule. Quotes attributed to real people should always be reviewed, so keep this agent draft-only on the trust ladder rather than promoting it to auto-publish. That protects your guests as much as your show.
Measuring results
Tag episode links with the UTM builder or use your host's per-platform links. Compare quote posts against announcement posts using per-post metrics. Over a season you will see whether listeners respond more to guest quotes, takeaways, or behind-the-scenes posts.
Pitfalls
- Misquoting a guest. Ask the agent to include the timestamp so you can check the audio.
- Quote cards without alt text. The guardrail blocks images with no alt text; write the quote into it.
- Only posting on release day. Spread posts across the week so the episode reaches people who missed the first post.
