How to do it
- Dump your thoughts Talk or type to Claude Desktop or ChatGPT after a customer call: what you learned, what surprised you.
- Draft in your voice The assistant reads brand memory, including your voice rules and phrases you never use, and drafts over MCP.
- Rewrite with your model Brand memory can rewrite drafts in your voice using your own model key, so you choose the model.
- Approve on your phone Swipe through drafts between meetings. Edit inline, reject, or approve.
- Keep a cadence An agent with schedule permission places approved posts two or three times a week so you never post five in one day.
We lost a deal last month because our onboarding needed a sales call. The buyer wanted to try it alone on a Sunday. We removed the call. Three weeks later, self-serve trials are our biggest source of new accounts. Sometimes the fix is removing your favorite step.
Your voice, your approval, your name
Founder-led marketing depends on authenticity. The posts that work are specific stories only you can tell: a lost deal, a hiring mistake, a customer insight. An AI assistant can turn a rambling voice note into a clean draft. It cannot decide what you are comfortable saying publicly. That is why every draft waits for you.
Setup
- Connect your personal LinkedIn and X accounts.
- Add the MCP server to Claude Desktop or connect ChatGPT as a custom connector.
- Write brand memory carefully: sentence length, whether you use lists, words you hate, topics you avoid such as fundraising or competitors.
- Add your own model key for rewrites if you want a specific model to handle your voice.
Permissions
Give your assistant draft and schedule. Do not give it auto-publish on your personal accounts; the trust ladder lets you promote an agent, but for a founder's own voice, approval is the whole point. Only owner keys can approve, and an agent can never approve its own draft.
Measuring founder content
Look at replies and inbound messages from people in your market, not just impressions. Per-post metrics show which topics get traction where the network reports them. Tag product links with the UTM builder. Best-time suggestions are heuristics; consistency matters more.
Pitfalls
- Polished to death. Keep your rough edges in the voice rules. Posts that sound like a press release underperform founder stories.
- Oversharing. Put customer names, revenue, and investor details in banned topics unless you choose to share them.
- Posting in bursts. Let the schedule spread posts.
