MCP in practice
Taplio's MCP lets you drive the product from Claude or ChatGPT. SocialHandoff's MCP server exposes tools for planning a week, drafting, scheduling, previewing, and reading insights, and it renders calendar and approval cards inside supporting clients. The key difference is authority. In SocialHandoff, approve_post works only with owner keys, so the agent that drafts cannot also publish unless you promote it on the trust ladder.
LinkedIn specifics
Taplio supports richer LinkedIn formats, including carousels. SocialHandoff posts text with one image and alt text, and joins a thread into a single post because LinkedIn has no threads.
